Are you reading my replies to you? I don’t think this is complicated, very simply, the republic we have is a type of democracy. Yes it does have a constitution but that doesn’t make it “not a democracy.” Look at the definition of democracy. See how it is a more general term? It included things like “direct democracy” and “elected representatives.” So it is incorrect to claim that the U.S. form of government is not a democracy. See these definitions:
“a state in which supreme power is held by the people and their elected representatives, and which has an elected or nominated president rather than a monarch.”
“a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives.”
A republic is a particular form of democracy.
And as I said in a previous comment, think about how manipulative the elites are that they speared this false idea about how a republics is not a type of democracy! It shows their contempt for the common man. It shows how they continually work to trick the masses.
